Everywhen 2025: 4th of July Camping in the Black Rock Desert
Everywhen 2025 is on the horizon, and preparations are well underway. Each year, we gather in the Black Rock Desert to build a temporary village—a place where creativity flourishes, deep connections take root, and we step away from the digital world to fully reconnect with nature, art, and each other.
Out here, there’s no endless scroll, no notifications, no distractions—just vast open space, crisp desert air, and skies so dark that the stars shine brilliantly, unspoiled by city lights. Each night, the Milky Way stretches overhead in stunning clarity, a reminder of just how deeply connected we are to the land and to one another.
This year, our village will take shape within the Snake geoglyph, a massive land art installation that serves as both a visual landmark and a guiding framework for our space.
What is a Geoglyph?
A geoglyph is a large-scale design created on the landscape, often visible from above. These patterns have been used for centuries by different cultures to mark sacred places, tell stories, and align with celestial events. At Everywhen 2025, the Snake geoglyph will define our village layout, shaping pathways, gathering spaces, and interactive zones in a way that flows naturally with the desert environment.
This unique design is an invitation to explore, engage, and be fully present. Whether you’re camping within its winding form, discovering art installations placed along its path, or simply taking in the view, the geoglyph will be a living part of the experience.

Winter Summit 2025: The Production Team Kickoff

This is our first major in-person gathering of the year, where we set the vision, form squads, and begin tackling this year’s major initiatives. It’s also an opportunity for highly interested prospective volunteers to meet the crew, connect with leadership, and find ways to get involved.
What We'll Be Working On
Setting the vision for Everywhen 2025 – aligning on values, priorities, and core ideas for this year’s event.
Forming squads – defining working groups for infrastructure, art, operations, safety, and more.
Identifying key initiatives – outlining the major projects and improvements we want to focus on.
Solution planning – tackling logistical and creative challenges, from village design to sustainability efforts.
Building leadership & volunteer networks – making sure we have the right people in the right roles.

Everywhen 2025: The July Event
📅 July 2-8, 2025 | Black Rock Desert
Each year, the layout of our village changes, reflecting the energy of the gathering itself. This year, the Snake geoglyph will serve as both a functional and artistic design, shaping the way we move, gather, and experience the Everywhen.
A natural flow – The shape of the geoglyph will guide pathways through camps, installations, and gathering spaces.
A dynamic space – Art, workshops, and performances will be embedded within the movement of the snake.
A central gathering hub – The head of the Wood Snake will serve as a communal space for ceremonies, celebrations, and shared experiences.
If you're bringing a destination camp, art installation, or performance, your placement will be integrated into this year’s design.

Bring Your Vision to Everywhen
Everywhen is made by the people who bring their skills, creativity, and ideas. Whether you’re setting up a destination camp, leading a workshop, showcasing an art piece, or hosting a performance, you’re contributing to what makes Everywhen special.

Critical Roles We’re Looking to Fill
Licensed Pyrotechnics (Fireworks) Operator – If you're certified and experienced in fireworks displays, we need your expertise to help us bring safe and approved pyrotechnic elements to Everywhen.
Workshop Leads – Think yoga, breathwork, movement, sustainability education, or any experience that brings enrichment to the desert. If you have something to teach or share, let’s make it happen.
Artists – Bringing an art installation or art car? Reach out to coordinate placement and support.
