Gate Opening Time: The gates will open at 6 AM on Thursday, June 29th, marking the beginning of your extraordinary journey.
Event Closing Time: Everywhen will conclude at 5 PM on Wednesday, July 5th, 2023, giving you ample days to immerse yourself in the magic of the event.
Fireworks Show: Don't miss the spectacular fireworks show on Saturday, July 1st, a bit after sunset. Prepare to be mesmerized by a dazzling display of lights and colors that will illuminate the night sky.

Arrival Instructions:
Hospitality at Backstage Camp: When you arrive, please proceed to the hospitality shade at Backstage Camp for check-in and placement. Look for our friendly Mayor-on-Duty, who will provide guidance and answer any questions you may have. Your placement within the community will be based on your ticket's zone selection (Lively Zone, Core Camp, or Tranquility Zone).
Tips for a Smooth Arrival:
Respectful Driving: As you make your way to the event, please be respectful to the towns you pass through. Observe traffic laws, drive at safe speeds, and minimize disruptions to local communities. Also, please note that driving on wet playa (or dark-colored playa) will result in getting stuck. Exercise caution and avoid these areas to ensure a smooth journey.
Essentials for Survival in the Desert:
Pack-It-In, Pack-It-Out: We prioritize environmental stewardship and the principle of Leave No Trace. Please remember to bring back all your trash and waste. There are no trash cans at the event, and each attendee is responsible for their own waste management.
Food, Water, and Shelter: Remember to bring ample supplies of food, water, and a sturdy shelter to ensure your comfort during your stay. While a meal plan provides one meal per day, you are responsible for your other meals.
Respect the Desert Environment: Our commitment to Leave No Trace extends to the desert. Be mindful of your surroundings, avoid damaging vegetation, and preserve the pristine beauty of the Black Rock Desert.
Fire Safety: For the safety of our community and the playa, please ensure that all fires are raised off the playa surface by a minimum of 6 inches. This precaution helps prevent damage to the desert ecosystem.
